is there anything else i can do to experience the love of God? besides reading the bible, praying and waiting on him? because i've been doing so almost the whole of this year and i just ended up being more confused than i was before than when i have not come to know about God. :( thank you!

I was just reading about that in Hebrews this morning.  The Lord wants to have a love relationship with us and not a legalistic one.  When we have a legalistic walk we do just what we “have” to so that we aren’t breaking the law. We do the bare minimum so that we can go to heaven.

But when we have a real LOVE relationship and I believe that is the kind of relationship that the Lord wants to have with each one of us, we want to please Him and stay as close to Him as we possibly can.  It is when we are in the Word and meditating on it that we see growth and a closeness to the Lord Jesus.  Cut out as much of the world as you can from your life.  When I turned the TV off my relationship with Jesus soared. Play Christian music and sing to the Lord (even if you have a terrible voice)  He loves it.  Talk to Him all day long.  Include Him in every part of your day.  Then you will see real growth and real closeness with the Lord.  God bless you!!! :):):)

spiritualinspiration:

Give Your All to God
by Joyce Meyer

Before I formed you in the womb I knew [and] approved of you [as My chosen instrument], and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you; [and] I appointed you as a prophet to the nations (Jeremiah 1:5).

Every day you need to give yourself entirely to God. Say, “Lord, I am Yours. I want to be a vessel fit for Your use. I dedicate myself to You: I give You my hands, my mouth, my mind, my body, my money, and my time. Father, here I am. I am Yours; do with me whatever You want to do today.”

Once you dedicate yourself to God, then go on about your business. But expect His leading all day long. Listen for His voice to direct you in the way you should go. Accept the challenge to be an instrument for the Lord’s use today.
